Olive oil injection.
00:13
A flavor injector allows you to insert extra flavoring
00:15
and moisture deep into the meat of your turkey.
00:18
We'll demonstrate here using an olive oil injection.
00:21
Remove the plunger from the injector
00:24
and pour the olive oil in.
00:26
Keep a glass handy so that once you replace the plunger
00:29
you can rest the syringe without spilling the oil.
00:37
Insert the syringe first into the thigh
00:39
and then inject the bird with the oil.
00:45
And then move on to each breast.
00:49
Other flavors such as wine, beer
00:50
and seasoned oil can be used, but be sure to avoid
00:53
ingredients that can clog the syringe.
00:55
A little orange juice can be added
00:57
to the oil to act as a tenderizer.
01:00
Roast as usual and you'll end up with a very tasty turkey.
